Vanity Fair Digital Edition App Reviews

I have been a big fan of this app. Over the years my annual apple subscription of VF moved from my iPad2, to iPhone 6 Plus, and now to iPhone 7 Plus. However, it is time for VF to address basic limitations in the app, if they want to keep their loyal customers. I would start with dynamic font size (why not take advantage of such a great option offered by IOS TODAY???). Book marks and landscape are long overdue futures, but the font size is an embarrassment by the end of 2016...

Just got the iPhone 6 Plus, and one of the reasons I got the larger phone is so that I can read VF on the phone. Well, the app doesnt work at all. It shows the current issue, but then just goes to a white screen and freezes up.

This is a great app, when it works. As soon as there is an update, it kicks you out of the sign in and then you cannot get back in. I have been trying to talk to someone for over a week - no response. I give up. I never have this problem with the other Conde Nast publications, so why is the Vanity Fair app possessed?

I have an easier time logging into my bank, iTunes and ANY account more than this one. They have a hard time keep it going right! When this app works its the greatest thing ever. However after an update youll have a hard time logging in.

This app does work on iPhone 6 plus. All I get is a blank screen.

Just like The New Yorker, this mag is completely broken in 8.1. It takes users directly to a white screen. No issues can be viewed or downloaded. Totally and utterly 100% broken. Disgraceful. And the problem isnt limited to Conde Nest publications. The same thing happens with harpers. Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY SUBS TO ANY OF THESE MAGAZINES if your intent is to read them digitally. The digital apps are completely useless at the moment. Please, people I beseech you: fix these apps! This is ridiculous. Some of us subscribers dont have access to the print editions.

Like others, I have deleted and re-downloded and still get only the blank screen.

Great mag now works on iPhone 6 Plus. Has nifty features to aid in reading on small screen. Now I can read my magazine of choice while waiting for appointments.

All content gone. Cant update library. Do not upgrade to this version.

This app does not work. Dont upgrade! No fix available no work around. Im paying for a subscription that cant be used. The best part? No customer support!

I love the magazine and really enjoyed reading the digital version on my old iPad 3. I recently got a new iPad Mini 3 to use on my daily commute. But for some reason I cannot sign into my account on the Mini. I keep getting an error message (“authentication error”). I can sign into my account on my old iPad without any problems and have tried multiple times to get help from Vanity Fair’s support team with the problem with the Mini. But nothing seems to work. Since I can sign into my account on their web site and my old iPad, the problem seems to be a bug specific to the iPad Mini. If you have a Mini don’t bother with this app. It won’t work.

I use IPad Air2 with 8.1.1 iOS and I dont have any problems. Ive stopped reading printed magazines some time ago after I have developed preference for ebooks on my Kindle. Im glad, I have ordered E version of Vanity Fair. It was one of my favorite in the past. It is so convenient to have magazines, books, games in one device now.

I see the ratings for this app are very low and I am shocked because I LOVE this app! I love it in digital form now more than I did in print. It is easy to use and absolutely gorgeous. I use a "old school" iPad2 and have had zero issues.

It has caused my apple store app to crash!!

I subscribe to Vanity Fair through iTunes and this app wont let me view any issues on the iPad air I can view the issues on my iPhone six but its really hard to read a magazine on the tiny little screen this issue needs to be addressed immediately!

I could not get any issues downloaded on iPad Air but then I deleted app and reinstalled it and then it worked.

Bought this app...it wouldnt let me sign in. tried over and over. tried the "lost password" thing. didnt work. start to think i must have bought a trial subscription by mistake. then i get an email (months later) from itunes saying "were renewing your subscription." i write and say "i never got the first issue." 3 emails and 4 phone calls later to both VF and itunes and the answer is basically this "screw you." (it was a polite "screw you" but still...) they say cant give me refund. cant give me subscription. cant give me old issues...i am SOL. CAVEAT EMPTOR!!!
