Vanity Fair Digital Edition App Reviews

I spent most of my time with this app trying to figure out how to cancel it. The quality of the app is good, but eventually I stopped reading it. Apple makes it overly confusing to cancel. I paid for a number of editions that I never read just because I had so much trouble trying to cancel.

I have to cancel my digital subscription because they made the stupid decision to only display in portrait. Being able to read it in landscape was so lovely, in portrait it is awkward and I cant use my keyboard stand. Hence, I havent read in months. Total waste of money now.

Theres no landscape view on the new version of the app. Many paying customers (subscribers) have written with the same complaint and requesting a fix but VF has ignored the comments -- other than being just plain rude, lack of customer service is definitely cause to cancel subscription. I used to devour VFs new editions cover to cover when I was able to read in horizontal view and I loved eagerly awaiting the next edition. Now, I get more and more frustrated as I turn the page, quickly reach my boiling point of annoyance, and have to close the mag. Now that Im behind on reading the editions, might as well cancel the subscription, stop paying for frustration and blatant lack of customer service, and just borrow the copy from others. Major FAIL by VF.

I made the mistake of updating this app. My previously purchased issues are all gone! Tried restore and it wont even show the issues I already own! Im supposed to be able to download my archived issues at any time and now they dont exist!! Im very upset!!

Unfortunate experience trying to maneuver digital magazine. According to description contains "interactive graphics, galleries & videos"...not available according to customer service. Frustrating enough to consider cancellation of magazine. Customer service unhelpful but does wish you a nice day!

Im trying to update my credit card info on my ipad air but the customer support page doesnt work. The keyboard doesnt drop and neither do any of the buttons on to work. I called the support number and was kept waiting for over ten minutes so I gave up.

Seriously? Amateurs. You guys and the bozos from LinkedIn should go bowling together. Keyboard-case iPad users wont be joining you. Heres a suggestion for future releases: dont break stuff that were all used to.

I watch Vanity Fair confidential on Discovery ID and they advertise a special edition out on criminals but I dont see it in my subscription. Shouldnt I get the editions they advertise? This is a paid subscription

No landscape mode. No ability to change the font size. The price is 5 times what it is if you buy a physical subscription. This is awful.
